End of My Awesome Internship

My internship ends today. I have worked there as; tour guide, front officer, and so on. Despite of many boring things there, I learned a lot from Mister Affandi and his family. I'm so proud of him knowing that he is an Indonesian artist, he was a self-taught painter and never went to any arts school yet still got scholarship from the Indian government.

I learned how he dealt with his life, how he expressed himself through his paintings. I'm just really amazed even though I firstly didn't know about him that much but now I know and it's just amazing! Apart from that, being a tour guide is also an awesome job. I met so many people, most of them are from the Netherlands and the US. It is so cool to meet new people from different background and different purposes coming as a guest in Affandi Museum. I've also met a group of American students who are studying Bahasa Indonesia. Dang it! Actually the best moment that I always remember is that when they said, "your explanation was good. I had a great time with you! Thank you so much, I wish you good luck for your future." Man, those nice words tho! Who doesn't like hearing some nice words anyways?

Two months is not a short amount of time. I should say that my experiences are truly worth there. Thank you so much, Affandi Museum and all the great friendly people there. Thank you also for those who came by and finally, I'm done.
